Our client is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support the delivery of a solar energy project in the UK. The role involves coordinating the movement of goods and materials to ensure timely and efficient project execution. You will play a key part in maintaining smooth logistics operations, supporting warehouse management, and liaising with stakeholders to meet project demands.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials for the solar project
  • Supervise and document the delivery of goods, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist in managing inventory, maintaining up-to-date records of stock levels and movements.
  • Ensure that required items are available within project deadlines and allocated resources.
  • Act as a point of contact between suppliers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Support warehouse organisation, including preparing pallets and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.
  • Collaborate with the project team in commissioning new production plants and equipment as required.

Requirements
