Position Title: Logistics and Sales Support Coordinator Location: Hybrid (remote work with 2–3 days on-site per week), Manchester Reports to: UK Operations Manager
Role Overview We are looking for an organized and customer-focused Logistics and Sales Support Coordinator to join our team. This role combines operational logistics with administrative sales support to ensure smooth order fulfillment, effective communication, and excellent customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination: * Manage day-to-day logistics, including coordinating shipments and maintaining stock levels. * Liaise with suppliers, freight carriers, and warehousing partners to ensure timely delivery of goods. * Ensure compliance with UK import/export regulations and shipping requirements. * Monitor and track project timelines, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
Sales Support: * Handle sales orders, update records in CRM/ERP platforms, and track order progress. * Prepare quotations, sales invoices, and client documentation. * Collaborate with the sales team to align operations with customer requirements and schedules. * Assist with lead tracking, sales reporting, and administrative tasks for the sales team.
Customer Engagement: * Respond to customer inquiries about orders, products, and delivery timelines. * Resolve issues efficiently and escalate unresolved matters to senior staff when necessary. * Provide exceptional customer service through proactive and clear communication.
Data Analysis & Reporting: * Generate performance reports related to operations, sales, and inventory. * Analyze customer behavior and order trends to identify areas for improvement. * Propose enhancements to processes based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential: * Previous experience in logistics, operations, or sales support roles. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP systems. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset. * Understanding of UK supply chain and logistics principles.
Desirable: * Experience in renewable energy, manufacturing, or a related industry. * Familiarity with technical products, particularly in engineering or construction. * Project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
