Logistics and Fulfilment Manager — High-Growth FMCG Brand

Location: St Albans (Site based with monthly travel)

Salary: Up to £55,000 + Bonus, Benefits, Healthcare, Holiday, and more!

Our client is a rapidly growing FMCG brand redefining its category with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and operational excellence. With ambitious expansion plans and a rapidly increasing customer base, they are establishing themselves as a category leader. As Logistics and Fulfilment Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the fulfilment, warehousing, and delivery operations, ensuring products are delivered to customers in an efficient and effective manner. This is a newly created role within the business, offering great potential for making a significant impact and gaining valuable learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Strategy: Develop and manage end-to-end logistics and fulfilment processes to support rapidly growing demand.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and optimised storage solutions.
  • 3PL Partnerships: Partner with 3PL providers and carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
  • Operational Efficiency: Implement strategies to enhance order accuracy, reduce delivery times, and streamline overall fulfilment processes.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of order fulfilment.
  • Scalability: Lead logistics scalability efforts as the business expands into new markets and increases production capacity.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and business requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in logistics, fulfilment, or supply chain management within a fast-growing FMCG environment.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Experience working with 3PLs, warehousing, and last-mile delivery providers.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
