Job Title: Locum Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7/8)

Location: South London, Private Hospital

Duration: 3-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (30 minutes lunch)

Start Date: March 2025

End Date: 3-Month Contract (view to extend)

Rate of Pay: £32 - £38 per hour (paid via Umbrella)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving patient care in both medical and surgical wards. In this role, you will:

1. Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to medical and surgical wards.
2. Deliver evidence-based medicine and ensure safe and effective use of medications.
3. Review and monitor medication therapy, making appropriate adjustments when needed.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Prior hospital wards experience, specifically in medical and surgical wards.
2. A current and valid GPhC registration.
3. Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
6. A commitment to providing high-quality care to patients.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time locum position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, including a 30-minute lunch break. The contract is for 3 months with the possibility of an extension based on performance and service needs.
