Job Title: Locum Pharmacist - Band 6
Location: Birmingham - NHS Hospital
Role: Outpatients
Duration: 4 weeks initially (to cover annual leave)
Schedule: 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, or 11am-7pm (30 min lunch)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 4 weeks from start
Rate of Pay: £23-£25 per hour (via Umbrella)

What You'll Be Doing
Join our team as a Locum Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients through efficient outpatient services. In this role, you will:

1. Screen and clinically check outpatient prescriptions
2. Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care within an NHS hospital setting
3. Collaborate with the outpatient pharmacy team to ensure safe and timely patient service
4. Use EPIC systems (preferred but not essential)
5. Maintain accurate patient and dispensing records

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A current and valid GPhC registration
2. Ideally, experience with EPIC and NHS outpatients (community pharmacists also considered)
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
5. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration
This role offers flexible full-time hours across the working week with shifts between 9am and 7pm. The contract runs for 4 weeks initially, with potential for extension based on service needs.
