Locum Employment Lawyer

North West

Hybrid Working

£50 umbrella per hour

Are you an Employment Lawyer with strong claimant experience looking for your next opportunity?

Our client is looking for a Qualified Employment Solicitor/Barrister/CILEx specialising in employment matters. Trade Union experience would be desirable, whether that be direct experience or working on behalf of a Trade Union/Member organisation.

The successful Employment Lawyer will be employed on a full-time basis and will be expected to attend the North West-based offices 3 days per week. Applicants seeking 4 days per week may also be considered. The role is an initial 3-month contract, however there is potential for this to be extended. The rate on offer is a competitive £50 umbrella per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Providing advice and support on legal issues affecting members
  • Assisting with training of staff and members on legal issues
  • Undertaking advocacy when appropriate, in the tribunals, courts and internal hearings
