Job description

Locum Clinical/Counselling Psychologist - Private Hospital, West Sussex

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join a private hospital in West Sussex. This exciting locum opportunity is with a specialist Eating Disorder (ED) team, providing care for young adults aged 18-25.

Role Details:

Position: Locum Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
Location: Private Hospital, West Sussex
Hours: 3-4 days per week
Rate: £35 per hour (Umbrella)
Unit: 12-bed MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) Unit
Patient Group: Young adults aged 18-25

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver 1:1 therapy to a group of patients
  2. Participate in ward walks on Tuesdays
  3. Weekly supervision with the Regional Therapy Lead
  4. Work collaboratively with a small, supportive MDT team comprising Nurses, Healthcare Workers, Dietician, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, and Consultants
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist (Newly qualified applicants welcome)
  2. HCPC Registration
  3. Proven ability to deliver 1:1 therapy
  4. Ability to travel to the service in West Sussex
Desirable:
  1. Experience with Eating Disorders or Neuropsychology
