Brief Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Scientist with a focus on Haematology to join our team. The role involves working with various Haematology equipment, processing and authorizing test samples, and reporting findings.

Required Experience:

• Experience with DXH 900
• Proficiency with ACL TOP 550
• Familiarity with Alifax Roller 20
• Expertise in blood film morphology
• Ability to technically review and validate test results, including cytograms on Remisol
• WinPath LIMS experience is desirable; full training provided for suitable candidates
• Proven teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and technically authorize Full Blood Count (FBC) samples
• Process and technically authorize Coagulation samples
• Review and report on blood films, including referral to Haematology Consultants
• Work within expected test turnaround times

Shift Hours:

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Specific Requests:

Preference will be given to candidates with DXH 900 and ACL TOP 550 experience, though in-house training can be provided to suitable candidates.
