Locum Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner - Fylde and Wyre - £26.00ph

Location: Fylde and Wyre

Banding: Band 6

Rate: Up to £26.12 per hour

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Team: CAMHS

Start Date: ASAP - 4 weeks

Contract Duration: 3-6 months ongoing

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Carrying out independent assessments and supporting young people.
  2. Working to organisational thresholds and processes.
  3. Completing care plans and hospital discharge planning.
  4. Managing risk, including adapting risk plans as situations evolve.
  5. Triaging and providing duty support for the team, prioritising caseloads and workload.
  6. Supporting a collaborative team environment and contributing positively to team efforts.
  7. Working face-to-face with young people experiencing a wide range of mental health and wellbeing challenges.
  8. Signposting appropriately and making safeguarding referrals as required.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  1. Experience working with children and young people within CAMHS or child protection settings.
  2. Confident working with varying risk levels and able to adapt care plans accordingly.
  3. Familiarity with discharge planning, triage, and duty work.
  4. Strong understanding of relevant safeguarding protocols and services.
  5. Must be able to work face-to-face on site (no remote working available).
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Locum Contract: 3-6 months ongoing.

Start Date: ASAP - 4 weeks.
