We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a proactive approach to work who is committed to providing a front line service to our tenants and enjoys working as part of a team to meet this varied and fulfilling role.

Based within the Coatbridge Locality, you will supervise a team of Estate Officers, maintain staff rotas and ensure continuity of our excellent service to tenants and residents, responding to emergency situations as required.

The Locality Response Officer reports directly to the Housing Co-ordinator and will be responsible for assisting with service provision in relations to estate services, temporary homeless accommodation and tower and concierge services with a locality.

You will be required to respond to any emergency situations out with office hours as requested by the line manager or by out of hours officers, and to ensure that staff are mobilised to assist with any emergency.

An SVQ3, HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is essential with an extended period of work experience in a housing or security environment.

You should have experience of dealing with the public, supervisory skills and be self-motivated with a professional approach to work.

Experience of working with community groups, knowledge of CCTV systems and training in customer care and health and safety are desirable.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Basic Disclosure check.

Working Pattern:

4 on, 4 off - day/night shift pattern

Day shift 7am - 7pm

Night shift 7pm - 7am
