Your Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Stockport’s Public Health team to influence and shape the research culture and practice of the public health and wider council workforce.
You will provide strategic leadership, training and support to colleagues to generate and use the best data and evidence for decision making, to better address the health needs of our local community and reduce health inequalities.
This role is part funded by the National Institute for Health Research’s Research Support Service (NIHR RSS) Specialist Centre for Public Health and you will contribute actively to their work. The post holder will benefit from bespoke training and development and national networking activities.
