Job description

Sellick Partnership is currently working with our local authority client to recruit an experienced Litigation Locum. This is an interim role with an initial 3-month duration.

Working on behalf of the local authority and two national park authorities, you will manage a varied caseload of both civil and criminal matters. Experience of planning and highways work is also highly desirable but not essential.

Duties may include:

  • Commercial debt recovery
  • Judicial review
  • Trading standards
  • Highways disputes

This is a fully remote working role, however, working as part of a small and cohesive team you will have regular (virtual) meetings with the wider team to ensure you feel supported in the role.

Applicants will be required to be a qualified solicitor, barrister or a chartered legal executive. Previous local government experience is desirable but not essential.
