Loading Shovel Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced Shovel Driver to join a leading recycling plant in Chorley. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, where you will have the chance to join a growing team and secure a long-term career in the recycling industry as a Shovel Driver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Shovel in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load, unload, and transport materials within the recycling plant.
• Ensure plant and machinery are maintained and report any defects or issues.
• Follow all safety guidelines and work regulations.
• Assist with other tasks around the plant when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating Shovels (or similar machinery).
• Valid and up-to-date operating license.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Reliable and punctual.

About the Job:

• Temp to Perm position with the opportunity to secure a permanent role.
• Monday-Friday
• 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts
• 37.5 hours a week

You must hold a valid loading shovel licence.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: GBP16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
