Within the Care in the Home division, we support clients with spinal cord injury to live independently in their own homes.

We'd like you to join us as a Live In Support Worker to support our brand new female client who lives between Prestbury / Liverpool University.

Meet the client:

Our female client is enrolled to study computer science at Liverpool University, starting in September. Our client requires a female driver to support with transport to university and to travel home at weekends. You would be required to assist our client on holidays, as our client likes to travel to hot countries numerous times per year.

Nigerian food is a big part of our client's culture, so a support worker who is willing to help out with cooking would be an advantage.

Our client likes to maintain her independence and spend time with friends, so someone who is sociable will be desirable.

What you'll be doing:

This role is to support our brand new female client who has a spinal cord injury. This will involve supporting with personal care, moving and handling, driving her vehicle and domestic duties including supporting with cooking.

This will involve living with her either in her home in Prestbury, or at her university accommodation in Liverpool during term time. Our client may go home for weekends.

You will be required to drive our client's vehicle to take her between her home and university. Therefore you must hold a full UK drivers licence.

When you'll be working:

  • We are looking for a regular team member to work permanently with our client
  • Assignments: 1 week on, 1 week off
  • Assignments and breaks will be planned in advance
