As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic, proactive, and tech-savvy Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, solutions-driven, and passionate about care, with a strong focus on audits, compliance, recruitment, and staff support.
Job Title: Live-In Carer
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
- Assist with medication administration, ensuring adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Prepare nutritious and well-balanced meals, with a strong focus on British cuisine and individual dietary requirements.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, promoting the client’s well-being.
- Undertake light household tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
- Monitor and record health changes, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals or the office team.
- Liaise with GPs, district nurses, pharmacies, and social services to ensure the best care outcomes.
- Support clients with dementia or complex care needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Encourage independence, assisting clients in maintaining their preferred lifestyle.
- Provide emergency assistance when required and follow established safeguarding procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Live-In Carer or similar care role (preferred but not essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not required)
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
- Ability to handle complex care needs, including dementia, mobility support, or end-of-life care
- Ability to cook traditional British meals and cater to dietary needs
- A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to use digital care systems and apps for record-keeping (training provided)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
