Job description

This is an opportunity to provide support to the Litigation team as a Paralegal.

Client Details

A Birmingham city centre law firm.

Description

This is a fast-paced and challenging Paralegal role, providing support to a busy Litigation team. The team is ideally looking for somebody with experience as a Paralegal in a large law firm, who is used to dealing with tight deadlines, high volumes of work, and challenging clients.

The work is of very good quality, so you will get exposure to some excellent Litigation work.

The role would involve a combination of administrative and Paralegal responsibilities - providing support on a large project, responding to multiple enquiries from clients, and drafting legal documents.

This role would suit somebody looking for a challenging Paralegal position; the team often has to pull together to meet tight deadlines, so it's not always a 9-5 job.

The firm works in a hybrid manner, so once you have settled in and got up to speed, there will be the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days a week.

This is a Paralegal role rather than a position leading to a training contract. However, the firm does have trainees, so it could absolutely be a long-term option for a quality Paralegal who has proven themselves in the role.

Profile

Ideally, you will have at least 6-12 months' experience in a contentious full-time fee-earning Paralegal role in the UK.
