Litigation Associate Solicitor (Property Damage) – Belfast

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced litigation solicitor (will consider all areas of litigation) to lead their property recoveries team in Belfast.

The team works on a broad and varied caseload of property recoveries work with leading insurance clients, including subrogated property matters, uninsured loss recoveries, and recovery of overpayments and duplicate payments. In this role, the litigation associate solicitor will be required to manage an interesting caseload of property recoveries matters and also to manage two team members.

You will be!

Ideally, some experience of property litigation/recoveries would be ideal; the firm is very flexible on skills set and so will consider a junior litigation solicitor with experience in a different area of litigation keen to learn in a supportive environment with structured training!

• Qualified Solicitor (NI/E&W)
• Previous litigation experience in any discipline
• It would be desirable but not essential that you have some previous people management or supervision experience
• Willing to learn the technical aspects of recoveries investigation as required
• Commercial aptitude and able to give clients commercial advice
• Driven and motivated with excellent communication skills
• Highly accurate and organized with the ability to manage busy workloads
• Good eye for detail and reporting skills
