Linux Engineer - Rocky
Initial 3-month Contract Role

£450 - £550, Inside IR35
ECS Resource group are currently working with a World's Leading Technology Organisation who are looking for a Linux Engineer to support the migration, deployment, and lifecycle management of Rocky Linux in a high-performing environment.
As a Linux Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Plan and implement the migration of systems from VMware to Rocky Linux.
- Install, configure, and manage Rocky Linux servers, ensuring that they are running efficiently and securely.
- Plan and execute Rocky Linux Migrations from VMWare.
- Regularly apply patches and updates to the system and applications to ensure security and stability.
- Set up and maintain backup strategies to ensure critical data is backed up regularly and can be restored in case of failure.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with Rocky Linux, specifically around migrations.
- Experience with RHEL, CentOS, Rocky Linux, or equivalent.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
- Linux administration experience.
