Linen Porter

Location: THE PIG - near Bath, Bath, Somerset.

OTE: £12.10 - £12.44 per hour, including tronc.

Hours: Part-Time, 35 hours per week, including some weekends.

Job Overview

We are currently looking for a hardworking Linen Porter to join our dedicated housekeeping team. Some may say the housekeeping team are the backbone of the hotel operation. For our housekeeping team, it is not just about making beds; it is about having an eye for detail and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

Role Responsibilities

As Linen Porter at THE PIG, you will assist the housekeeping department by:

1. Taking stock of the linen on site.
2. Organising the delivery and collection of linen.
3. Carrying out reports of any changes or damage to the hotel’s linen.

Within the role of Linen Porter, you will need to have a strong work ethic and physicality to manoeuvre bundles of linen and housekeeping supplies. From time to time, you may also be required to assist our Room Attendants with the turnover of the rooms and cleaning the public areas of the hotel.

Qualifications

Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. We are seeking applicants with the willingness to learn and a strong work ethic, taking pride in a job well done.
