Lighting/Audio Visual Electrical Engineer

About Us:

We are high-end lighting and AV specialists located in Ipswich, Suffolk, working with clients throughout Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire.

The Role:

We are looking for a multiskilled electrician/engineer to assist with a variety of projects including lighting, high-end audio-visual systems, blinds, home automation, smart home integration, and much more. This exciting role will develop your skills in a growing industry with an opportunity to work with the very best systems available.

Duties include the preparation and installation of:

• Interior and exterior lighting systems.
• Lighting control boards.
• CCTV systems.
• Multiroom Audio.
• Home Cinema.
• Access, networking, and smart home control.
• Video distribution.
• Integrated blinds.

Key Requirements:

• Applicants must be able to work alone and on their own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
• Very high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the team and clients.
• Good basic IT skills.
• Undertake training to further develop skills.
• Full UK Driving License.

Other Details:

• Free onsite parking.
• Training given.
• Working week Monday-Friday.
• Work location: Ipswich, Suffolk.
• Applicants must be able to reliably commute to our site in Ipswich daily or relocate prior to starting work.

Experience:

• Electrical Engineering: 1 year (preferred)
• Experience in audio visual or home automation systems (preferred)
