Lifestyle Enrichment & Activities Coordinator

As a Lifestyle Enrichment & Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our residents. You will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging activities that promote the wellbeing, independence, and social engagement of the residents. Main duties of the job

In this role, you will be responsible for devising imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit the interests and abilities of the residents. You will work closely with the community engagement team to create community links and showcase the care home. You will also be responsible for updating the home's social media platforms. This is a permanent position that requires working alternate weekends, with a total of 30 hours across 4 days, from 10am to 6pm.

Job responsibilities

This position requires working alternate weekends, with a total of 30 hours across 4 days. The working hours are from 10am to 6pm.

You will be computer literate and work closely with our community engagement team to create community links and showcase our home. You will also be responsible for updating the home’s social media platforms. Our ethos is all about celebrating life, so you'll help to devise imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability. An extremely rewarding role, part of your time will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone's lifestyle, wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.
