Role – We are looking for an experienced Liferay Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level solutions using Liferay DXP. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in portal development, content management, and system integration, with a deep understanding of Liferay’s architecture and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the architecture, design, and development of Liferay-based solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
2. Define best practices and standards for Liferay development, including performance optimization and security.
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate requirements into scalable and efficient solutions.
4. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to developers and other team members.
5. Perform code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines.
6. Integrate Liferay with third-party applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.
7. Oversee deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Liferay environments.

Key Skills:

1. 8+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with at least 5 years focused on Liferay DXP.
2. Expertise in Liferay 7.x and above, including themes, portlets, hooks, and service builder.
3. Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
4. Experience in Liferay workflow, permissions, and user management.
5. Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, Kubernetes, and Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
6. Hands-on experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
7. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is an advantage.
8. Consulting background.
9. Strong communication skills (oral & written).
10. Rights to work in the UK is a must (No Sponsorship available).
