About the Role
Our lifeguards are on hand to ensure our guests are having a great time as well as keeping safe in the pool and on the flumes in our Splash Waterworld! Our guests' safety is our biggest priority, so this role requires superb attention to detail whilst also interacting with our guests and providing exceptional customer service. You will promote and run poolside activities, creating memorable experiences for our guests whilst keeping their safety at the forefront of everything you do.
Typical working hours cover a minimum of 24 hours up to full time (35 hours) and a combination of midweek and weekend availability is required. Predominantly, shifts are between 8.30am - 6pm; however, there are occasional shifts until 9pm at times.
Live-in accommodation may be available for those aged over 18 and relocating to the area.
A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential for this role.
About You
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a natural ability to engage and relate with a wide range of people. You will need to be a strong swimmer with fantastic attention to detail to ensure you can monitor the pool at busy times. If you have a previous lifeguard qualification, we would love to hear from you.
You will work alongside a great team, but there will be times when you are supervising areas independently.
Our business is open 7 days a week; therefore, flexibility, reliability, and punctuality are all essential, as you will form an important part of a team.
