The Alan Hudson Centre, based at North Cambs Hospital in Wisbech, is a specialist day unit supporting people living with a life-limiting illness, providing care to patients and their families.

As our Life Celebration & Creative Activities Assistant, you will work as part of our specialist team to help plan and support a range of creative and social activities and life celebration work which will enhance the emotional, spiritual and physical well-being of our patients. The role will work closely with our Life Celebrations Co-ordinator and a team of volunteers to support the delivery of these services. The role will also work closely with external arts and leisure facilities and funding bodies to develop and sustain collaborative working.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have training/diploma within an Arts or other related field, along with training in different art forms and experience of managing and delivering arts or leisure activities.
This post is subject to an Enhanced Level DBS check with Child and Adult Barred Lists checks.
Starting salary of £27,061, with opportunities to progress to £29,697.
Please note that the salary quoted is based on full-time hours and will be pro-rata’d for part-time posts. As a Charity with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role. Exceptionally, and only for candidates demonstrating significant strengths relevant to the role, we may be able to negotiate on this.
