We are Growing & Looking to expand our Team!

Grant Ag is looking to hire a full-time Licensed Mechanic to join the Team in New Liskeard, ON.

This position requires experience in Truck and Trailer Maintenance.

Experience with Farming Equipment with Welding being a great asset, as well.

Hours are 9-5 Monday-Friday. Some seasonal overtime will be required.
Pay is dependent on experience.

Schedule:

8-hour shift
Day Shift
Monday to Friday

Skills Required for Truck Mechanic:

Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport trucks
Test and adjust repaired systems to the manufacturer's specifications.
Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems.
Troubleshoot all types of electrical/mechanical issues including brakes & tire rotations
Preventative maintenance & follow a PM schedule

Skills Required for Mechanic:

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of Trucks, trailers
Fabricate and weld
Repair & Maintenance of farm equipment
Experience ordering parts

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience
Must have own toolbox.
Physical effort and dexterity are required, lifting up to 75 pounds, including service-related tools.
Exposure to exhaust, grease, and shop noise.
