The Role
As a Licenced Aircraft Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will help to drive the delivery of the flying activities alongside your Military colleagues by taking a ‘Whole Force’ approach to activities and ensuring excellent safety and delivery reputation is always maintained.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Coordinating all CAA part 145 paperwork
- H&S of all equipment and reporting of any faults and diagnostic problems.
- Providing a CRS signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after either defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.
Essential Experience
Essential experience of the Licenced Aircraft Engineer:
- Aircraft inspections, repair, and maintenance
- Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
- Line support tasks
- Type Rating on Grob 115E aircraft and Lycoming 360 engines
- Have previously worked in a pt.145 environment
- Experience in the aircraft maintenance industry
Qualifications
Qualifications for the Licenced Aircraft Engineer:
- Recognised SHEQ Qualification
- Working knowledge of safety management systems (SMS)
- EASA/CAA Part 66, B1.2 license
- Clean driving licence
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC Clearance security clearance for this role.
