Library Assistant

A fantastic opportunity for a Library Assistant to support the daily operations of a renowned media organisation. This role is ideal for a degree educated candidate with customer services and admin experience who is passionate about film, TV, research, and cultural heritage.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist visitors with enquiries, registration, and research support.
2. Carry out cataloguing, shelving, stock maintenance, and conservation tasks.
3. Process and digitise materials for onsite and remote access.
4. Support metadata and cataloguing projects.
5. Help with inductions, tours, events, and library promotions.
6. Work collaboratively within the team, including evening and weekend shifts.

About You:

1. Library or public-facing experience with a strong interest in information management.
2. Excellent customer service and organisational skills.
3. Interest in digital library services and film culture.
4. A proactive team player with a flexible approach.
5. Able to work some evenings and weekends.
