Glasgow Life is looking for a Libraries and Communities Manager (Libraries Development) to join us on a full-time, permanent contract. As Libraries and Communities Manager (Libraries Development), you will be joining our in-demand Libraries and Communities service.

As Libraries and Communities Manager (Libraries Development), you'll be an integral part of the team by leading on the development of Glasgow's community library service and the Mitchell Library, including stock and collections, reader development and literacy, key national attainment programmes, and activities and programming for all library audiences. Reporting to the Senior Manager Libraries and Communities (Service Development) you'll manage, develop, and inspire an experienced team of managers maximising public participation in library venues and programmes across the city. You will also lead on the delivery of Glasgow's library strategy, Vision for Glasgow Libraries.

This role is working Monday to Friday 9-5pm and the role holder will need to have the ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends dependent on the needs of the service.
