Job description

An experienced Liability Claims Handler/Adjuster is required to join a Specialist Liability Loss Adjusting Practice where you will join a strong team of Liability Investigators responsible for your own portfolio of Liability Injury Investigations, predominantly Motor related, however you will also deal with a wide range of Liability related Claims including EL/PL/Products/Disease etc (Training can be provided on EL/PL).

  • Working from home you will have full autonomy where you will manage your own diary/appointments/site visits covering your geographical area.
  • All work caried out will be investigation and report only and you will act on behalf of several principals.
  • You will be actively involved attending site taking witness statements, gathering full evidence and carrying out locus reports etc.
  • On joining you will be required to attend a 2-3 days induction receiving full training on systems, case management etc. You will receive full sundries equipment.

About You

  • Experienced in handling Liability Claims internal or already field based.
  • A Background in handling Motor Liability (Injury) claims is essential and ideally experienced in dealing with EL/PL claims (covering a wide range of Injuries) however training can be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills - face to face, verbal and written
  • The ability to attend site, gathering evidence and taking witness statements
  • Exceptional report writing experience
  • Good organisational skills being able to manage own diary/appointments
  • A full clean driving licence.
