Contract: Permanent / 40 Hours Per Week

Hourly Rate: £16.76ph + £2.52ph additional night rate between 18:00 to 06:00 + £19.86 subsistence allowance per day + £8.81 food allowance per day.

Location: DPD Dagenham - Unit 2, Orion Park, Messina Way, Dagenham, RM9 6FF

Days of Work: Monday - Friday

Start Window: 12:00 - 21:00

Job Description

As a Class 1 Relief / Tramper driver, you'll be making bulk collections & deliveries between various DPD sites and customers nationwide. You will be driving a modern fleet on an agreed shift pattern delivering palette loads to HGV friendly locations.

You will be expected to do a minimum of 4 nights a week, sleeping in your vehicle at one of our secure locations. You will be covering a set region surrounding your base depot.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

To be considered for the role you must have:

1. A valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence
2. Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience
3. A valid UK CPC Card
4. A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card
5. Ability to load/unload trailers where needed

We are also looking for you to demonstrate that you:

3. Are friendly, approachable, positive, resourceful and professional
4. Are able to multi-task and problem solve
