Level 3 SEND Nursery Nurse

Are you searching for a new path within your career in Early Years? Monarch Education is currently working with a Nursery School in the Northfield area of Birmingham to find a Level 3 Nursery Nurse who is heavily experienced supporting pupils with SEND. This role is Wednesday to Friday 9am - 3pm and personal care will be required. You must hold at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare to be considered for this role.

Requirements of applicant:

1. You must hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years
2. You must have experience supporting children of EYFS age with SEND Needs
3. Knowledge of the EYFS and SEND National Curriculums
4. Understanding of various SEND conditions and how they impact children's learning & development
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to adapt support methods and strategies to meet diverse needs

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide tailored support to children in the setting's SEND Inclusion
2. Ensure the inclusion of SEND pupils in all nursery activities
3. Support children in the setting's forest school
4. Work closely with the SENCO to implement and review IEP's
5. Support the social, emotional and cognitive development of all children in your care
6. Apply positive behaviour management techniques at all times

Salary: £12.10 - £17 per hour (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
