Job description

My client based in Huntingdon is currently recruiting for a Level 3 Practitioner who is willing to join a dynamic, proactive, professional and forward-thinking team. The position can be offered on a 3, 4 or 5 day per week working pattern.


Hourly rate: £13 - £13.45 per hour


Hours: 27 - 45 hours per week


Responsibilities:
  1. Help to create a warm, caring and unique environment for the children, families and team of the Nursery.
  2. Support and promote equality and diversity throughout all areas of care and practice.
  3. Have a child-led approach, ensuring that observations and planning meet the needs of each individual child.
  4. Help ensure the well-being, health and safety of all children at all times, including dietary requirements.
  5. Support and nurture relationships with all children, families, colleagues and external professionals.
  6. Take on the responsibility of being 'key person' to build close, warm and professional relationships with your own group of key children and their families.
  7. Support and monitor the development within the EYFS through using online learning journals, trackers and progress reports.
  8. Maintain accurate and effective records.
  9. Attend paid staff meetings and training sessions, including any mandatory training for continuous professional development.
