Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant

Are you looking for a role within Early Years but want to work in a Primary School setting? Monarch Education are currently working with a Primary School in the Sutton Coldfield area of Birmingham to find a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant who can work full-time until the end of the academic year. This role is Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm and personal care will be required. You must hold at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare to be considered for this role.


Requirements of applicant:

  1. You must hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
  2. You must have experience supporting children of EYFS age.
  3. Knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculums.
  4. Comfortable providing personal care to pupils where required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide tailored support to children in the setting's Nursery.
  2. Motivate pupils when learning through a range of educational activities.
  3. Support the social, emotional and cognitive development of all children in your care.
  4. Apply positive behaviour management techniques at all times.
  5. Promote an environment of acceptance and inclusion for all pupils in your care.

Salary: £12.10 - £17 per hour (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
