Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and caring Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join a vibrant and supportive team in a mainstream creche within a special educational needs school in Hackney. The role is ideal for someone passionate about early years education and supporting children with a range of needs. As a Childcare Practitioner, you will work closely with young children to support their development, learning, and wellbeing in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality care and support to children in the creche setting
2. Support children with additional learning needs, ensuring a tailored approach to their development
3. Create and implement age-appropriate learning activities and support children in their learning journey
4. Work collaboratively with the team to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
5. Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing updates on children's progress and wellbeing
6. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care

Person Specification:

1. Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
2. Experience working with children, preferably in an SEN or early years setting
3. A nurturing and empathetic approach to working with children
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to the needs of the children
