Level 2 Nursery Assistant

Level 2 or 3 Nursery Assistant Needed - Southend-on-Sea, Essex

Strategy Education are recruiting for a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Assistant to work in a 'Good' Ofsted rated nursery connected to a primary school in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The nursery's prime focus areas are on PSED, physical development, communication and language.

Are you a passionate and dedicated childcare professional looking to join a warm, welcoming, and supportive team? We're looking for a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant to work alongside a supportive and caring team. As a Nursery Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS, observing and assessing children's development, and working closely with your fellow team members to provide the very best care.

What we are looking for:

1. Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
2. A genuine love for working with children and helping them flourish
3. Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
5. A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude

This is a temporary role with the possibility of this becoming a long term/permanent role for the right candidate. Pay rates £80 - £105 per day.
