Our client is an independent market leading firm of Letting Agents, and they are looking for an experienced lettings professional to join the team in Hitchin. Well known for their dedication to landlords and tenants, they always strive to exceed expectations through high levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Register new prospective tenants and book appointments
  • Conduct viewings of current and proposed properties including direct interaction with tenants and landlords
  • Conduct property rental valuations, after training
  • Conduct administrative tasks involved in the running of the letting business, which briefly include tenant referencing, production of draft tenancy agreements, checking legally required documentation and related contractual paperwork
  • Take calls about and organise repairs and maintenance
  • General property management
  • Using IT systems to ensure data is captured and used in a manner to ensure excellent recording and productivity with the office
The ideal candidate:
  • Well-presented and excellent communication and written skills
  • Minimum of 1 year’s lettings experience
  • Organised with a good attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of the current lettings and property management legislation
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Dedicated to delivering first class customer service
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Be a friendly and approachable team member
