Duties:

  1. Register applicants and match applicants to properties.
  2. Arrange and attend viewings.
  3. Supervise an effective applicant database, ensuring regular contact is made with all prospective tenants.
  4. Achieve pre-agreed targets.
  5. Liaise and negotiate offers between landlords and tenants.
  6. Communicate regularly with landlords regarding marketing feedback, viewings, and hot prospects.
  7. Communicate all offers from applicants and proposed terms with landlords for their approval.
  8. Provide practical solutions to landlords regarding achieving a prompt let.
  9. Generate new and repeat business opportunities for market appraisals, instructions, viewings, and lets.
  10. Maximise board presence and promote brand awareness at all times.
  11. Update window displays with new and let agreed properties to ensure a professional image is displayed at all times.
  12. Canvass/leaflet to seek new business opportunities, including targeting competitors.
  13. Sign up tenants and assist/work through the whole tenancy check-in process.
  14. Ensure offers are accepted, all terms agreed, and application forms are completed in full by prospective tenants.
  15. Process completed application forms.
  16. Progress transactions accurately and efficiently.
  17. Maintain office systems/software and working procedures.
  18. Efficient diary management.
  19. Correctly record all messages, viewings, and appointments.
  20. Produce activity reports as required.
  21. Bring complaints to the attention of your Line Manager immediately.
  22. Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and provide a first-class level of customer service at all times.
  23. Ensure that you are fully aware of and comply with all regulations for General Data Protection & Anti Money Laundering.
  24. Attend all meetings and training courses as required by your Line Manager.
  25. Inform your Line Manager of ideas which may improve performance and efficiency.
  26. From time to time, perform duties outside of this job description reasonably requested of you.

Main Objectives:

  1. To achieve goals and targets pre-agreed with your line manager, operating to the standards required by the company.
  2. Demonstrate high standards of professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency in dealing with the public.
  3. Maximise opportunities for viewings, lets, market appraisals, and instructions.
  4. Operate an effective diary system to ensure all landlord and tenant inquiries are booked in and an appropriate time set aside.
  5. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with landlords and tenants.
  6. Seek to increase office market share and generally promote ‘brand awareness’.
  7. Operate within the confines of the Housing Act and lettings legislation.
  8. Operate to the standards set by our regulatory bodies.

You will need:

  1. Experience as a letting negotiator is preferred.
  2. Full UK Driving licence required and own car.
  3. Motivated and eager to succeed.
  4. Strong communication skills.
