An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Leisure Team within Customer and Community Services. Working within a small team you will support a wide range of customers using the sport and leisure facilities within Fauldhouse Partnership Centre. These facilities include: swimming pool, sauna, steam room, sports hall and 3G Pitch.
You will be based between dry-side and poolside and your duties will include:
We are looking to recruit a friendly, reliable, helpful and passionate individual who will provide a quality service to our leisure and sport customers.
You are required to be diligent and self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
You should have good interpersonal skills and have a track record in providing excellent customer service.
You must be in possession of a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
The leisure facilities are open during the day, in the evening and at weekends, and a shift allowance of 10% is paid in recognition that you will be required to work at these times. Rota patterns can be discussed should you be invited to an interview.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
