Legal Secretary to Director and Private Client Department Head

Location: Towcester

Salary: Up to circa £27,000 per annum

We are delighted to partner with a prestigious, Legal 500-listed, Lexcel and STEP accredited law firm, who are seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to directly support the Head of Private Client Department and the Director.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking for a fulfilling role supporting both the Private Client Department Head and the Director.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Providing direct secretarial and administrative support to Director and Head of Department
2. Audio typing and copy typing of correspondence and legal documents including Wills and LPA's
3. File opening, closure, storage, and retrieval from archive
4. Preparation of mails and enclosures for dispatch
5. Diary management, arranging meetings etc
6. Liaising with clients, other solicitors, probate office, banks and other professional third parties
7. Providing support to colleagues
8. Answering incoming calls, directing them to the relevant people and/or taking detailed messages

Suitable candidates will have:

1. Previous legal secretarial experience, specifically within Private Client/Wills and Probate
2. Experience of audio and copy typing
3. Experience of drafting legal documents relating to wills and probate
4. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

This is a permanent job which is fully office-based. The role can be either full-time or part-time. Please state hours required on application.
