Job description

Our client is seeking a candidate to join a team serving designated fee earners. The ideal candidate should be educated to A-Level or equivalent, technically minded with strong admin skills, good typing speeds, and accuracy. Preferably, candidates will have experience working in a legal environment, but strong Secretarial/PA candidates with previous experience in a legal setting and more junior candidates seeking to move into the legal world are also welcome to apply.

The candidate should be a good team player with strong communication and organizational skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to prioritize and work under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
  2. Manage extensive diary and inbox.
  3. Book and arrange travel, transport, and accommodation.
  4. Manage databases and filing systems.
  5. Implement and maintain procedures/administrative systems.
  6. Type and transcribe documents.
  7. Schedule meetings and prepare documentation for meetings and presentations.
  8. Manage records and document control.
  9. Organize business trips, client meetings, small events, lunches or dinners, client hospitality, sporting or social events, and in-house seminars.
  10. Produce biographies for target contacts.
  11. Compile collateral packs.
  12. Maintain client and personal contact lists, including marketing and business development activities and accurate profiling of contacts.
  13. Update and maintain social media profiles and contact lists for Partner and/or Senior Lawyers.
