Legal Secretary – Commercial

  • Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Location: Marlborough or Swindon, SN8 and SN25

This role is ideal for individuals with property secretarial experience, particularly in the commercial sector. You will be instrumental in supporting our legal team by managing documentation and registry processes, ensuring efficient operation within our office.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Utilise the Land Registry portal for various legal processes and handle requisitions effectively.
  • Submit Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms and register charges at Companies House.
  • Draft simple legal documents and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare completion packs and ensure all documents are accurate and well-organized.
  • Manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards of work under tight deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a legal secretary, preferably within a commercial property setting.
  • Proficiency in using the Land Registry portal and handling related legal requisitions.
  • Experience in submitting SDLT and registering charges at Companies House.
