The Firm
Our client, a leading full-service law firm based in Bromley, is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their well-established and highly regarded Private Client team.

The Opportunity
The successful Legal Secretary will provide exceptional service levels to both clients and lawyers whilst ensuring excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to work. Duties include:

  • Managing diaries, ensuring they are up to date and reminding Lawyers of meetings.
  • Arranging meetings, booking conference rooms, and liaising with other attendees.
  • Photocopying, printing, organising couriers, and sending out letters and faxes.
  • Opening/closing of files, supervising general filing requirements, and record keeping.
  • Supporting Lawyers in marketing activities.
  • Taking internal and external telephone queries.
  • Entering, maintaining, and updating client details and relevant information.
  • Dealing with basic client queries and general administration.
  • Typing urgent, short, and confidential correspondence and emails.
  • Producing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets as required.
  • Assisting Lawyers in the billing and credit control process.
  • Requesting cheques, bank transfers, and paying in money received.

This Legal Secretary position is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm.

Requirement

  • Experience supporting a Private Client team in a law firm (essential).
