Legal Secretary
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £22,000 - £23,500 P/A
Hours: 35 Hours per Week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, 1 hour lunch
Type: Permanent

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a new challenge in a close-knit, supportive team? We're working with a respected Huddersfield-based law firm to find a reliable and proactive individual to join their growing practice.

You'll be supporting fee earners with a range of legal admin tasks, helping to keep things organised and running smoothly day to day. The role offers plenty of variety, autonomy, and the chance to really feel part of a team that values what you do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audio and copy typing legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing diaries, booking appointments, and maintaining client files
  • Dealing with incoming calls and emails from clients and third parties
  • Supporting legal professionals across a range of case types
  • General office admin duties as required

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience within administration, legal secretary experience is desirable
  • Strong typing skills and confident IT ability
  • A professional, organised, and friendly approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • Experience in family law or litigation would be a bonus
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team. You should be comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks and interacting within a team to ensure smooth operations.
