Location: Midsomer Norton - Office based

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 (depending on experience)

Our client is looking for a Legal Secretary to join their forward-thinking, friendly team. You will play a vital role working within the Private Client department, supporting with all secretarial and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing professional service to all clients
2. Responding efficiently to all email and telephone inquiries
3. Creating legal documents to adhere to requirements provided by the Fee Earners
4. Management of diaries that involves scheduling in appointments, including telephone conferences and ensuring meeting rooms are booked for client visits
5. Supporting the administrative functions to assist with any project-based tasks, to support the relationship between the organisation and the client
6. Ensuring all files are updated to maintain accurate documentation
7. Proficiently carry out audio typing, ensuring the highest level of accuracy at all times

Skills & Qualifications:

1. 1+ year previous experience in a Legal Secretary / Solicitor role
2. Exceptional verbal & written communication
3. Great attention to detail
4. Good IT skills and confident using Microsoft packages
5. Able to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
7. Able to work to tight deadlines
