Legal Executive
  • Annual Salary: £35,000
  • Location: London NW11
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Executive to join our team, specialising in conveyancing. This role requires someone with a strong background in legal secretarial duties, particularly within conveyancing, who can handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of professionalism and client service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare and amend legal documents, contracts, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the opening and closing of client files, adhering strictly to compliance procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors via phone, email, and in-person to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Handle diary management, including booking appointments and scheduling meetings to ensure efficient time management.
  • Conduct Land Registry searches and submissions, supporting with Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) submissions and file registrations.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage key dates and deadlines to ensure timely compliance and submissions.
  • Assist with file archiving and managing document management systems to ensure organised and accessible records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Legal Executive within conveyancing.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and terminology.
  • Excellent typing and IT skills, including proficiency with case management systems.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professional communication and client care skills, ensuring high standards of client service.
