Legal Counsel - Pharmaceutical Experience Required

Location: Cambridge. Onsite 1-2 days a week initially and then reduced to a couple times a month on site.

Planet Pharma are partnered with one of our leading clients, who are seeking to hire an Associate Legal Counsel in Commercial Law. They would be working alongside and reporting to legal counsel in the UK supporting the UK & Ireland affiliates and will be part of a broader, global network of lawyers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting EU / UK / Irish law and regulations (including industry codes)
• Advising on complex legal issues in multiple fields, including commercial, healthcare compliance, value & access
• Research, drafting and providing legal risk assessments
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including commercial, collaborative/joint working agreements and HCP/HCO contracts
• Reviewing promotional and non-promotional materials
• Developing/updating legal training, contract templates and guidance

Requirements:

• Commercial Law - negotiating contracts and identifying risk in Life Science industry
• Barrister/Solicitor background. UK or Ireland qualified.
• 4 to 6 years experience
• Process improvement experience.
