Our client operates a real-time blockchain and is seeking to hire an In-house Legal Counsel to join their team.

In this role, you will serve as the sole Legal Counsel, taking on a wide range of responsibilities across all business areas. You will interact with senior executives, cross-functional leaders, high-profile external partners, and a dedicated independent community, all committed to the long-term success of innovative blockchain network solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a legal advisor to the business on all matters, particularly corporate issues and specific product inquiries, including negotiating contracts with collaborators and vendors.
  • Draft and negotiate unique agreements for groundbreaking products and partnerships within the blockchain network sector.
  • Provide legal support to operational entities, offering guidance on product development, compliance, corporate governance, and best operational practices.
  • Develop and implement legal contracting processes and workflows.
  • Manage outside counsel efficiently when they are involved in high-profile projects while maintaining domain expertise.
  • Ensure legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions in collaboration with external counsel.
  • Implement policies and oversee record retention across departments.
What You’ll Need
  • LL.B./J.D. degree from a prestigious law school, with experience in UK, EU, or US jurisdictions.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) from a reputable law firm or in-house team.
  • Experience in the blockchain/crypto industry is essential.
  • Exceptional negotiation and drafting skills, with a strong understanding of contract terms.
  • Proficient in drafting and reviewing contracts and managing compliance across various regions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities, along with the capacity to engage productively with other attorneys, staff, in-house client groups, and outside counsel.
