This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and paid up to £45,000 per annum.

Purpose of the role

We're looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team and support the legal function across the business. This role is ideal for a solicitor with at least 1 year PQE looking to gain in-house experience in a supportive environment. Reporting to the UK Counsel, you'll work closely with multiple departments, providing legal advice, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risk.

How you'll make an impact at Movianto as a Legal Counsel

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, particularly client agreements.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection.
• Support dispute resolution, liaising with external counsel when needed.
• Identify legal risks and provide practical advice to the business.

What it will take to thrive as Legal Counsel at Movianto

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 1 year PQE (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of commercial law, with contract drafting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
• A willingness to take on new challenges.
