Legal Counsel - 2-6 PQE

Join a dynamic construction group as a Legal Counsel in Leeds, working across commercial, corporate and finance. This role will report into the General Counsel and will be a rare chance to expand on your experience into finance and construction.

Description

The Legal Counsel will be:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and BAU agreements.
• Advising on substation leases, statutory agreements, and regulatory matters.
• Provide legal support to the General Counsel in finance and construction contracts.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and manage risk across business operations.
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders supporting with their legal needs.

Profile

The Legal Counsel should be:

• A solicitor (or equivalent) with 2-6 years PQE in commercial law.
• Experienced in general commercial contracts, corporate transactions, or regulatory agreements.
• Skilled in contract negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiar with construction, finance, or infrastructure projects (preferred but not essential).
