Role profile
We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Coordinator to join our Real Estate department on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting our telecoms sector team. This full-time role is based in our Bristol office, where you will work closely with our Business Administration Manager and be aligned to a specific client team.

The Team

The Bristol Real Estate department consists of 52 fee-earners and 9 PAs. You will support our telecoms sector team, which comprises approximately 20 members, evenly split between qualified lawyers and paralegals. The team works closely with the Business Administration Manager.

About the role

As a Legal Coordinator, you will provide a wide range of services to the telecoms sector team, including but not limited to:

  • Supporting team members with various tasks: including searches, engrossments, finance requests, and deeds archiving.
  • Monitoring new instructions on HighQ: ensuring the accuracy of all pre-requisites supplied and data input related to instruction allocation.
  • Assisting with the billing process.
  • Circulating data for weekly client progress reports.
  • Assisting with generating purchase order number requests: updating relevant platforms with purchase order number information.
  • Monitoring team inboxes: especially when team members are on leave.
  • Diary management: arranging team meetings and booking meeting rooms for internal and client meetings.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post: requesting and collating hard copies, saving them to the system, and managing distribution.
About you

Along with previous administrative experience, you will also:

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Remain calm under pressure, demonstrating prioritisation skills.
  • Competently produce and format letters and documents.
  • Be proficient in using various computer packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
